Dance Exams

Students have the opportunity to progress from one grade level to another through these yearly examinations, which, although optional, are highly recommended.  These certificate examinations/presentations are offered by invitation only to students observed and assessed as having the potential to succeed, and are available through mutual consent between teacher, student and parent.  Please note all dancers performing solos in competition MUST participate in exams.

The RAD is an international examining body committed to improving the standard of ballet technique. Exams may be held at different times each year. Students may be eligible to take an exam if the teacher feels they are ready. Cost of exams, extra classes and mock exams are not included in your monthly fees.  Tap Exams through: Gilbert Dance

The Al Gilbert Tap Dance Technique & Graded Certificate Examination Syllabi Systems have been the most widely used technique and testing programs in North America for almost 50 years.   Students may be eligible to take an exam if the teacher feels they are ready. Cost of exams, extra classes and mock exams are not included in your monthly fees.

Acro Exams through: Acrobatique

Acrobatique examinations are designed to encourage students to set and achieve positive goals, work at a high personal standard, and maintain a consistent education throughout their training years.  Examinations in the Acrobatique method allow students the opportunity to enjoy quality technical training; helping to create stronger AcroDance and performance abilities.
